In the last post, we dove into the concept of False Security and False Abundance vs. True Security and True Abundance.
And we looked at the system we were born into that has been around since 1500 B.C., a very unnatural system that was created to protect wealth that couldn’t be spent in one lifetime, an unnatural problem.
And in this system that was created, that has everyone chasing and stockpiling wealth, often trading in their health, happiness, desires, and truest and fullest expression, everyone is missing one very important truth.
That we live in a prosperous universe. That, before man created this problem 3500 years ago and built a whole system around solving the problem (retirement plans, inheritence, banks, police, etc.), everyone had everything they needed. Until humanity decided that logic, reason, and brute strength was more important than wisdom, happiness, and trust, everyone lived in harmony with their own nature… and nature itself.
And thus financial conditioning was born. Most of the conflict in the world is because people are fighting to be secure. But everybody is inherently secure and taken care of. They’re just too busy trying to create it that they don’t notice it.
So let’s look at the difference between prosperity and wealth:
I spent most of my life, up until 9 years ago, chasing this false abundance, chasing and stockpiling wealth, and completely missing prosperity (the inherent feeling of flourishing and thriving). Notice that Prosperity is a condition while Wealth is stuff you need to attain.
Prosperity is a way of being. And the journey back to True Abundance and Prosperity has taken a lot of courage and trust. As it does to unwind all this conditioning.
Since I’ve started following my heart (when I quit the corporate world in 2009 and started my first business), I’ve had to face all of my fears: of the future, of success, of inadequacy, of lack of ability to do it on my own. I’ve had to trust it was all going to work out, staying true to the call of my Heart, when faced with not being able to pay my bills on many different occassions.
To build this Trust and allow yourself to relax and allow, instead of force and “make things happen”, you first need to learn/remember how to be uncomfortable. How to feel all your feelings.
I’ve had to feel all the feelings of inadequacy, of failure, of shame, of guilt, of “I’m not good enough” so that I could release them from my system. As they were all based on the conditioning and pressure put on me by the “system of false security.”
And I’ve been able to strengthen my Trust each and every time as I’m always provided for, in ways my mind could have never planned. My consistent Aligned, Inspired Action always results in me having everything I need, even when it doesn’t look like it possibly could happen.
I’ve watched it happen when my monthly expenses were $4000 and $400. I’ve watched it happen when I was couchsurfing and living on 30 acres in a big house. When traveling the world and living in New Jersey.
When I had a team to pay. When I had an assistant to pay. When I had no one to pay. When I’ve hired coaches, therapists, and mentors. And when I’ve done it alone. Whatever my needs are, whatever the amount is, I’ve always been provided a little bit more than enough. And the more I trust in this universal Truth, the easier it arrives to me.
And now, as I need savings and capital, marketing support and team support, in order to bring my visions into manifestation, my “enough” has become larger. And I am still provided with just a little bit more than this “new enough”… by doing only the work I love and by only following my heart.
As long as I keep following my Heart and trusting, even when it’s scary. And as long as I continue to be a good steward of my savings, in service of my health, focus, and impact on the planet.
As I show the universe I am using my savings wisely in service of my health, focus, and impact on the planet, I receive more.
And the same could be said for the various groups I’ve worked with over the years. In my time living in Kenya and working with families who lived in the slums, in my time working with homeless youth in San Diego, in my time working with executives and successful entrepreneurs, those with children and those without, those with jobs and those without. I see it time and time again. When they remember how to Trust themselves and follow their heart, they always have a little more than they need.
And as they decide that they need more (e.g. a warm home to focus in, or a relationship that they’ll be cared for in, or savings to invest in a home to create passive income and more free time, or an assistant to support in growing their impact in the world), as they change their definition of “enough” they suddenly are provided with a little bit more than that “new enough”.
But they first have to release the beliefs they’ve been told about them, the world, and what’s possible… that are based on this system of false security. And begin to remember their true nature, worth, and power.
What if you knew and BELIEVED that you’d always have a little bit more than enough? What would that mean for you? Why would you ever need to stockpile any wealth?
