As a follow-up to the “Tap Into True Abundance” Masterclass, I wanted to dive a little deeper into the concepts covered there.
First, if there is a “True Abundance” that exists, that would imply there is also a “False Abundance.”
This is a foundational piece of information to really get. And when you get it, you can truly get off the hamster wheel.
This is a call to truly question everything you’ve ever been told about money, wealth, abundance, and prosperity. You were born into a society that has conditioned you to believe you need to create an abundance of wealth in order to create security for yourself and your family.
And you were born into an elaborate system that reinforces this: retirement plans, life insurance, inheritance, deteriorating health into old age that induces fear.
And so, many spend their whole life chasing this security by building up savings and retirement accounts and life insurance policies and an inheritance they can pass onto their kids. In most cases, they do this by exchanging their desires and full expression in exchange for a consistent paycheck.
To make it worse, along the way, quite often that security is lost due to external conditions outside of their control: layoffs, the stock market, the economy, etc. Then, it “needs” to be built up again.
This is a False Security that could disappear at any moment based on a False concept of Abundance.
True Security is always there. True Abundance is not something that has to be fought for.
Regardless of shifts in external circumstanes, it will still be there. It is a foundational Truth of Nature. But, if you’re too busy chasing the false security, you will completely miss it. And you’ll trade in the life you are designed to live, one guided by your heart, as a result.
You can follow your heart AND build abundance at the same time. But this takes a deep Trust in yourself that you’ll need to spend some time rekindling.
First, where did this whole system of retirement, inheritance, etc. come from? Have you ever questioned it? Or just accepted what your parents, bosses, guidance counselors, and politicians told you… that in order to be safe, secure, and successful, you need to stockpile wealth in such a way?
Let’s take a look:
Up until this point in human history (1500 B.C.), women were seen as more important. They gave birth to, nursed, and raised the children of society. They created life. They were revered.
With the advent of sea trade, men began to be seen as more important as it made more logical sense for them to go on the long sea journeys to trade wares, since women were often creating and caring for children.
The men began coming home with more money than could ever be spent in a lifetime. This was a new problem that never existed in humanity before. They needed it to be saved, protected, and passed down.
Think about that.
You were born into a society that encourages building up a stockpile of wealth that will last beyond your time here on Earth, to be passed down to your children.
But this is not natural. Before this moment in human history, there was always just a little bit more than enough for everybody. There was no struggle or fight to make more to create safety. There was just safety.
The archeaological artifacts discovered on the island of Crete (buildings, pottery, murals) that belonged to the Minoan society around this time of 1500 B.C. demonstrate this. They show a society where everyone had enough and was cared for, a society of celebration and joy, appreciation for the cycles of life.
This society was killed by the Greeks in the name of conquering, logic, power, and chasing of more wealth. And, since then, this has been conditioned throughout society as the “more evolved way”, generation after generation, until you were born into it.
You were born into a society that is so ingrained in creating this False Abundance that they (and you) miss the simple truth of True Abundance.
That you will always be provided with a little more than enough… if you’re not too busy chasing “a lot more than enough”, exchanging your freedom, expression, and joy in order to get it.
This is the difference between Prosperity and Wealth.
And this is what we’ll get more into in the next post… stay tuned!
