In this week’s post, we will be talking about how Manifesting Generators create abundance in their life, an abundance of money, relationships, material things, community, friendships, intimacy, etc.

The leadership type of a Manifesting Generator is a Direct Builder. That means they are designed to build things very quickly and, when they’re trusting their gut, will be guided to the most direct path to accomplish something and get an initial version out into the world. They will also miss steps along the way so it’s important that they have others to support them in addressing those details, or support in noticing the things they’re missing.
Channel 34-20 is the prototypical Manifesting Generator channel, connecting the Gut to the Throat (the Sacral Center to the Throat Center) in a direct and consistent way. If you’re a Manifesting Generator with this channel, this is what allows you to use your energy to create abundance and results in your world very quickly.
In order to sustain those results, you’ll need to go back to complete any steps that were missed. It’s important to notice any moments you act out of emotional highs, emotional lows, or from any pressure of your mind.
With that consistent energy flow, it’s important to be continually busy. But not just doing anything. It’s important to be continually busy doing work that you love and work that is correct for you. Your Sacral Center and an inner intelligence called your Sacral Response will let you know what is correct for you. It’s important to slow down to make sure you’re making decisions from an emotionally clear place and a Sacral Yes.
The main difference between Generators and Manifesting Generators is that Manifesting Generators have a direct connection from one of the four motor centers to the throat. The Sacral Center is one of the motor centers.
The picture to the left shows you the other three motor centers: the Solar Plexus is the triangle on the right (Emotional Motor), the Ego Center is the small triangle above that (Willpower Motor), and the Root Center is the square below that (Drive and Motivation Motor). If your Sacral is defined by any of the other 10 Sacral Channels and any of these centers has a pathway of defined channels connecting it to the Throat Center, you are a Manifesting Generator.
This means that you also have the characteristic of being able to manifest something very quickly and directly through your emotional clarity and power, drive and motivation, willpower, or Sacral Energy.
In order to choose the correct path for you, it’s important to pause. It’s important to allow any emotions to calm.
If you have a Defined Emotional Authority (your Solar Plexus Center is defined), then allow your emotional waves to run their course, gathering information until you reach emotional clarity.
If you have an Open Solar Plexus, you’ll want to notice if your emotions are amplified. You may be amplifying others’ emotions and it’s important to also be patient until you can hear that clear Sacral Yes or No of your gut.
By listening to your clear Sacral yes, the energy rising up the front of the body to guide you to the action, you’ll always be guided to the correct actions and most direct paths.
Now, let’s look at some of the ways that one of your 4 motors could be connected to your Throat through defined channels, starting with your Sacral Center and how a series of multiple channels could connect your Sacral to your Throat:
If you have, for example, 14-2 and 1-8 defined, than your Sacral Energy is flowing in a consistent way to your Throat through those 2 channels, making you a Manifesting Generator
If you have 58-18 and 48-16 defined, than your Root Center’s drive and motivation is flowing in a consistent way to your Throat through those 2 channels. If you also have your Sacral Center defined, then this configuration would make you a Manifesting Generator. You will be able to use your drive to manifest abundance in very direct ways.
If you have the Solar Plexus Center defined by either Channel 36-35 or Channel 22-12, then your Emotional Motor energy is flowing in a consistent way to your Throat. If you also have your Sacral Center defined, this configuration would make you a Manifesting Generator. You will be able to use your emotional energy from a clear place to manifest abundance in very direct ways.
If you have Channel 21-45 defined, than your Ego Center’s willpower is flowing in a consistent way to your Throat. If you also have your Sacral Center defined, this configuration would make you a Manifesting Generator. You will be able to use your willpower to manifest abundance in very direct ways.
These are just a few examples of how your 4 motors could be connected through defined channels to your Throat Center. There are many combinations of channels that could do this. As you look at your chart if you are a Manifesting Generator, look at the path of defined channels from your motor centers to your throat to begin to get a feel for the unique flavor that you’re meant to manifest through.
And remember, as a Manifesting Generator, to not just initiate because you feel the pressure/energy of one of your motor centers. It’s important that you are first responding to an implicit or explicit request of your energy. Then, initiate action from a clear Sacral Yes. If you initiate before listening to your Sacral (from your mind or emotions), you may act in a way that’s not correct for you. If you had waited, you would have heard the Sacral No and saved yourself a lot of challenge.
Now, if you have an undefined (open) Sacral Center: meaning you’re a Manifestor (Innovator is your Leadership Type),
Projector (Guide is your Leadership Type), or Reflector (Evaluator is your Leadership Type), here’s how you can best collaborate with Manifesting Generators (Direct Builders):
You will be able to notice, through your Open Sacral Center, how Manifesting Generators and Generators are using their energy efficiently or inefficiently and can be a great guide for them in this area. You can learn all the different ways that Generators/Builders can show up in the world to generate and create abundance. You’ll learn by naturally sampling all those different ways as you work with various Generators over the years and you’ll experience what works and what doesn’t.
For you, it’s especially important to resist any temptation to be like a Generator. You’re meant to sample the Generator energy and utilize it in alignment with your Human Design Strategy and Authority. It can be easy to think you should operate as Generators and Manifesting Generators do (as they make up about 70% of the population and much of society is designed for them) but notice that temptation and resist it.
As you gather that data and experience, as you sample all these different ways to play with Sacral energy, you can become a great guide. And remember for you, unlike the Builders/Generators, you don’t have that consistent Sacral energy. So when you’re collaborating with a Direct Builder or Systematic Builder, play your part so they can play theirs.
If you’re a Projector/Guide, wait until the Manifesting Generators (Direct Builders) invite you to share what you’re seeing. If you’re in a role of management, there is an implicit invitation for this. Yet, they still may get defensive when you’re trying to share with them how you see they can use their energy better. Take care and be gentle in how you deliver this. Help them see how they can slow down to speed up, realizing how they miss steps. And, if possible, get them some support to help them with the details they miss.
Help them respond and act from their Sacral Response (Gut Knowing) instead of initiating from the pressure of the mind, emotions, or motors.
If you’re a Manifestor/Innovator, you’re here to initiate and get new ideas and innovations moving. Just make sure to inform the Direct Builders first because they’re almost always already in the middle of multiple projects and often already too many projects. So if you just start moving and acting without first informing them what you’re about to do and why, they will likely meet you with a lot of resistance. By informing them, you’re not asking for permission. You’re giving them a chance to adjust and respond.
If you’re a Reflector/Evaluator, you’re here to observe the trends over longer periods of times, at least a month. So your role is a more high level role, helping Generators to see how they’re fitting in (or not fitting in optimally) with the bigger picture and trends.
A few final notes for you Manifesting Generators / Direct Builders out there: it’s really important to move your energy in a healthy way. Vigorous exercise will often help to move some of the energy and help you remain calm, collected, and clear amidst your energy consistently flowing to the throat to manifest.
Remember abundance is not just about money. It’s about relationships, intimacy, community, material things, experiences, and joy. It’s about living the life you’re here to live. It’s about relaxing your mind and noticing all the patterns that are in the way of you trusting the wisdom of your body. And it’s about knowing and trusting that when you live in alignment with how your energy is meant to move through your body, and you align your thoughts and your emotions to that.
When you notice the momentum of a thought pattern that is outdated that you picked up or created back when you were a child to protect you from a world that didn’t want you to be who you are, slow down to give that pattern space to unwind. Don’t act from that place. Create a new space to be intentional and align to thoughts and emotions that are aligned with your energy.
And that’s how abundance can happen and move through you and purpose can move through you in the most easeful and direct ways.
